Manconzeb 70% +Cymoxanil 6% WP
Mancozeb: It is a broad-spectrum protective fungicide that works by inhibiting the oxidation of pyruvic acid in the pathogen. It is non-systemic and is typically used to form a protective film on the surface of crops to prevent the invasion of pathogens.
Cymoxanil: It is a fungicide with local systemic action that can be absorbed by plants and move to some extent. It can inhibit the production and invasion of pathogen spores and is effective against fungi in the order Peronosporales (such as Phytophthora, Peronospora, and Bremia).
This combination fungicide combines the advantages of both active ingredients. Mancozeb provides initial protective action, while cymoxanil provides control over pathogens that have already invaded the plant tissue.
This product can effectively prevent and treat various leaf diseases caused by fungi in the class Oomycetes, such as downy mildew of cucumber, late blight of tomato, downy mildew of lychee, and late blight of potato.
